His name
Good god... How time flies. I was supposed to talk about "La Marche du Violoniste" in "a few days" four months ago, and here I am, talking about everything but that particular project.
Let's say I'm on "Valve time" (...Aren't we all ? Kind of). And, well, a lot of things are happening right now, so... As they say : "Change of plans".
The most terrible thing is that the pic above is completely unrelated. I'll get to that um, later.

Lincoln S. character concept
I've found myself meddling with a lot of my old stuff lately. Here is a ten year old drawing I did for a point-and-click adventure game project.
How time flies ! It's hard not to admit I have evolved leaps and bounds but... I can't shake the fact that this new, colored version below seems bland and generic compared to the old one to me.
Maybe it's just nostalgia. Or that original drawing/design was already generic to begin with and the colors just make it more obvious...

Hugo, violonist...
[...and Elise, his fiancée, but he doesn't remember her.]
Now that "Violeta, El Corazón de Chile" is (almost) completed, I can't wait to get started on new projects... "La Marche du Violoniste" is one of them. I'll write something about it in a few days

Grumpy Nono
... Slowlyyyy... Getting back to work.
This is one of my classmates, Nolwenn Renard.
She's one of the 5 people I work with on "Violeta Parra, El Corazon de Chile".
And probably the grumpiest gal I know.

Violeta concept arts
Some color...
I suck at it and learning about it is painful, but you got to do what you got to do, right ? Artistically speaking, it's as if I were colorblind.
Here are some preproduction images from a short film I'm working on.I suck at it and learning about it is painful, but you got to do what you got to do, right ? Artistically speaking, it's as if I were colorblind.
It is called "Violeta Parra, El Corazon de Chile", an homage to the famous chilean artist Violeta Parra (obviously). We are 6 people aboard -me included- and even though it's only 2 minutes long, it represents a tremendous amount of work.
I'll try
to post more about my other stuff in the future, but since those pics above were
savagely trashed by our artistic director... One can only hope.

Tombstone
Things are going pretty slow right now... I still don't have the time to get back to the style I like the most, unfortunately... Bah, I kinda like this drawing though.
