Three years / One century

It's been three years since I graduated from CG school and I haven't even posted a link to my graduation film yet. So here it is in all its glory (lol) : Violeta Parra, El Corazón de Chile !

(spoiler alert : it's bad)

I wrote and conducted the 30 minute interview (which had to be cut down to a mere minute and a half for obvious reasons) with Paula, Violeta Parra's granddaughter, storyboarded the thing from A to Z, designed the characters, made some textures, matte paintings, and yet... I still feel like I half assed my work through the whole process.

It could have been much, much better, even back then, with my poor skillset.

Today is also Violeta Parra's birthday. She would have been a hundred years old had she not committed suicide on that unfortunate day, february 5th, at the age of forty nine...

Cela fait un bon moment que j'ai rien posté... J'ai été très occupé par le projet Cybergirl avec mon ami Jekyll.

J'y reviendrai dans un article plus tard.

Bon, c'est un peu vieux...

J'ai fait ce dessin lors du festival d'Annecy, en 2015. C'était l'occasion de retrouver les potes ! Ici, Charles aka Nastyz et Marie aka Pikila. N'hésitez pas à aller jeter un oeil sur leur travail :)
